Primeclass Lounge sits on the fifth floor of Muscat International Airport, airside after immigration, and covers roughly 3,000 square meters - about 33,000 square feet - with capacity for 375 passengers at once. It's open 24 hours a day, and it was named Lounge of the Year for the Middle East and Africa region, reflecting consistently strong reviews: 4.6/5 on TripAdvisor and 8.1/10 on Flight-Report, with comfort and service both scoring above 8.3.
Rather than the glass-and-marble look common to a lot of Gulf lounges, Primeclass is built as a reinterpretation of traditional Omani architecture - the airport's own description calls it a design meant to reflect the beauty of the country rather than just international luxury branding. It's operated by TAV Operations, the Turkish airport operator that runs a number of well-regarded lounges across the region.
What's inside
The lounge runs an open buffet with hot dishes, light bites, and desserts, alongside a bar serving soft drinks, tea, coffee, and a selection of house spirits. Three private showers come stocked with care products, and there's a dedicated workspace area, an entertainment zone, a prayer room, and international newspapers and magazines for anyone settling in for a longer stay.

Is it worth visiting?
With round-the-clock hours and enough capacity to never feel cramped, Primeclass Lounge is a strong stop whether you're passing through Muscat at 3 PM or 3 AM. The traditional Omani design is also a nice change of pace if you've been through a lot of the more generic international lounges elsewhere in the Gulf.
